If you are new, we want you to know we are primarily a wholesale company, supplying some 1200 fine galleries and special stores, so the site is set up to help this kind of customer. If you see something you like, and are not a store, let us tell you if/where there's a store where you can find us near to you. If so, their prices will beat ours on the site, and you can see and touch before you buy. If, on the other hand, we don't have a store convenient to you, we will do our best to get you the items you crave!

Erda creates blatantly contemporary handbags, totes, satchels and backpacks made from either delicious deerskin or rich chenille fabrics in vibrant colors and earth tones.

Each bag is handcrafted with care here in rural Maine. You can see some of the characters who make them at the About Erda link above. Fun designs conceal the practicalities: all the smaller ones convert to belt bags, many are reversible and most have lots of pockets, too! Embellishments on the leather bags make them even more unique.
